Mark Meyerowitz explained the wheel to new members. Seth, John Scalise and John Burke spun the wheel. John Burke went over the details of the Strawberry Festival, discussed who was in charge of what. Seth showed us the shirts we will be wearing. He said that $20000 has been collected so far. He asked that members come both before and after the official hours of the festival to help. John Scalise said the cones and fences will be done by the Lions Club. Andrew Meyerowitz said that as long as we have helping hands, we will be ok. John Burke suggested we get a power lift. Judy Mankita updated the group about the Aktion Club. Mark Meyerowitz discussed getting permits and the problems associated with it. Janice Seyfried was introduced and talked about upcoming events.

Janice and Seth explained to the new members of the club how Kiwanis is set up. Janice said the most important person is the member. She discussed the Kiwanis International Convention in Las Vegas . She also explained how our dues are broken down and where it all goes. She said that the next worldwide service project will be announced at the Las Vegas convention. All the members introduced themselves to the new members, who are Sherry, Tony and Liz.
