John Monks provided info about our Installation Dinner – November 1 at 7pm at the Coyote Grill in Island Park; he guaranteed 50 people - $50/per person; John Burke will be inviting fire chiefs

John introduced our prospective members Steve & Karen Messina who are neighbors of John Monks.
He also introduced Patrice & Richard from Seaford who reached out to Seth on our website. All were handed applications.
Joan Sass, a social worker in the Shore Rd. School was present to share with us a program running in the school called Have A Heart Committee. They are seeking donations of money or items to raffle off to the staff in order to raise money for needy families in Bellmore. Joan was instrumental in helping us find children for Kamp Kiwanis and has consistently recommended kids for several years.
John Monks followed up with the psychologist from the Grand Ave. school and presented him with a gift card for a needy family for clothes.
John Scalesi informed us that there will be a blood drive at Kennedy High School on December 8.
Our new Board will be installed at our Installation Dinner on Monday, November 1 at the Coyote Grill in Island Park.
