Our Aktion Club

The Kiwanis Club of the Bellmores is one of the first Long Island based Kiwanis Clubs to sponsor an Aktion Club.  The development of the "Aktion Club of Nassau Boces RKS at Bellmore JFK" is something that we are extremely proud of.

We would like to offer a special "thank you" to Bellmore Kiwanian, Judy Mankita.  Judy is our liaison to this club as well as the Bellmore John F. Kennedy Key Club and is the creative spark behind the Aktion Club here in Bellmore.  THANKS JUDY !

Dr. Macarena Planken visits the Aktion Club

Dr. Planken, a dentist and one of our newest Kiwanians paid a visit to the Aktion Club in December. Her goal was to teach the club members about good dental care. With the help of a puppet with a healthy set of teeth, Macarena succeeded admirably!

The club was so enthusiastic that we have planned a trip to Macarena's office for this winter.
