Bellmore Kiwanis, 

Thank you so much for your generous donation of $500.00 to the "MIDNIGHT MADNESS" Post Prom Event, sponsored by the Community Wellness Council of the Bellmores and Merricks, Inc. We are extremely grateful for your support.

This event is offered to all graduating senior students (and their dates) of the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District. It will be held from 12 midnight to 5:00 a.m. at Zachary's Nightclub in East Meadow on June 25, 2010 and it will provide them with a safe, drug and alcohol-free place to continue spending time with their friends after their prom, or have a place to come with friends if they did not go to the prom. Approximately 300 students (and their dates) attended and we are happy to report that those who did, had a great time.

With the help of donations received as well as some additional funding from Senator Charles Fuschillo, Assemblyman Dave McDonough and Legislator Dave Denenberg, we were able to offer this event "FREE" of charge to the students. As an additional incentive, we also gave away great prizes throughout the night such as, laptops, printers, TV's, Digital Cameras, IPODS and many more (you had to be there to win).

Whether you are a friend, merchant, organization or concerned individual or family, the donation you made gave us the opportunity to offer this event to our students and provided them with a good quality of life choice. Making the right choices, help our students make the right goals for their futures.
