Kiwanians gathered from all over the Long Island South Central district on Monday January 11, 2010 to inform current, new and potential members of the value that comes with being a member of Kiwanis International. Different clubs also discussed their upcoming events and asked for the support of other clubs to help raise money for their communities and different charities.
The Kiwanis Club of the Bellmore’s hosted the divisional meeting at Antonettes, an Italian restaurant in South Bellmore. Lieutenant Governor Tony Genova hosted the meeting with speakers Dave Rothman and Peter Mancuso to help inspire current and potential members with different speeches expressing what it means to be a member of Kiwanis International and how even the smallest notions, make the biggest differences throughout our communities.
