Long Island Community Service is a primary goal of
the Bellmore Kiwanis Club. The Bellmore Kiwanis Club
strives to fulfill Kiwanis International's vision of
changing the world, one child and one community at a
time. Through Charity Events and the participation
of our members we've helped to educate our children,
support our community, and establish ourselves as
the premier service organization in Bellmore.
Here on our web site, you can find out about the
different Charity Events presented by the Bellmore
Kiwanis Club as well as how we're working to
accomplish this mission. Over the years, we've
completed numerous Long Island Community Service
projects and will continue to do so in the coming

Nassau County
Strawberry Festival &
Green Expo
In it's 25th year, the Strawberry Festival, hosted by the Lions &
Kiwanis Club, is lots of fun and all proceeds go right back to our local
community. Come down and support Bellmore.
Now in it's 2nd year, the Nassau County Green Expo, hosted as part of
the Strawberry Festival will bring to you some of the local leaders in
"Green" business/technology. The expo was a great success in 2009
and hope for nothing less in 2010!

Strawberry Festival
This year's Strawberry Festival as well as the 2009
Annual
Pancake Breakfast
will be "GREEN". We will be featuring
local Green businesses in our Green Expo located
next to the Main Tent (where you can also find tons
of great Strawberry Themed food and drinks).

Pancake Breakfast
The Long Island Pancake Breakfast has been hosted by
The Bellmore Kiwanis Club for 34 years. Thanks
to the tireless efforts of our members and
volunteers, the Long Island Pancake Breakfast has
become the most consistent
Charity Events this great club has the pleasure
of hosting.

Fair
We have much to discuss: We will hopefully find a
means to get greater attendance at our meetings. A
final report on the Bellmore Street Fair and
comments in light of the current financial problems
our community is facing and how we can help families
in distress.
